This Return Policy outlines our policies regarding returns and exchanges for plants and accessories purchased from Candlesgharomaai.

1. General Policy

Due to the living nature of plants, our return policy differs from standard retail policies. We aim to work with customers to resolve any issues while recognizing the unique challenges of plant care.

2. Plant Returns

2.1 Health Issues

If you receive a plant that shows signs of poor health, disease, or pest infestation within 7 days of purchase, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include:

  • Replacement with a healthy plant of the same or similar variety.
  • Store credit for the purchase amount.
  • Refund in the original form of payment.

Please provide photos of the plant condition when contacting us about health issues.

2.2 Care-Related Issues

We cannot guarantee plant survival after purchase, as plant health depends on numerous factors including environment, care practices, and individual plant characteristics. However, if a plant fails to thrive due to issues present at the time of purchase, we will work with you to find a solution.

We provide care guidance to help plants thrive, but we do not offer refunds or replacements for plants that decline due to care practices, environmental conditions, or natural growth patterns.

2.3 Return Timeframe

Plant returns or exchanges must be requested within 7 days of purchase. After this period, we cannot accept returns for plants unless there is a clear defect that existed at the time of purchase.

3. Accessories Returns

3.1 Pots and Planters

Pots and planters may be returned within 14 days of purchase if they are:

  • Unused and in original condition.
  • In original packaging if applicable.
  • Free from damage or defects.

Used pots or planters that show signs of use cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

3.2 Care Tools and Accessories

Care tools and accessories may be returned within 14 days of purchase if they are:

  • Unused and in original condition.
  • In original packaging.
  • Free from damage or defects.

Used tools cannot be returned for hygiene and safety reasons.

3.3 Soil and Consumables

Soil mixes and other consumable products cannot be returned once opened due to hygiene and contamination concerns.

4. Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange:

  2. Provide your purchase information and reason for return.
  3. For plant returns, include photos showing the condition of the plant.
  4. We will provide instructions for returning the item or arrange for pickup if applicable.

5. Refunds

Refunds will be processed in the original form of payment within 5-10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item. For approved plant returns due to health issues, refunds will be processed promptly.

6. Exchanges

We may offer exchanges for plants or accessories of equal value, subject to availability. Exchanges must be requested within the applicable return timeframe.

7. Shipping Costs

If you are returning an item due to our error (defective product, wrong item shipped), we will cover the return shipping costs. For returns due to customer preference or change of mind, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.

8. Store Credit

In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a refund. Store credit does not expire and can be used for any future purchase.

9. Special Circumstances

We understand that each situation is unique. If you have concerns about a purchase that fall outside these standard policies, please contact us. We will work with you to find a fair solution.

10. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

Please provide photos of the damage or defect when contacting us. We may request that you return the item for inspection, but we will cover all associated costs.

For items damaged during shipping, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. We will work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue and ensure you receive a replacement or refund.

11. Gift Returns

If you received a plant or accessory as a gift, you may return it for store credit. Gift returns must be made within the standard return timeframe (7 days for plants, 14 days for accessories).

Please provide proof of purchase or the gift receipt when returning a gift item. Store credit will be issued in the form of a gift certificate that can be used for future purchases.

12. Sale Items

Items purchased during sales or promotional events are subject to the same return policy as regular-priced items. All return conditions and timeframes apply equally to sale items.

If an item goes on sale after you purchase it, we do not offer price adjustments or retroactive discounts. However, you may return the item (if within the return window) and repurchase it at the sale price, subject to availability.

13. International Returns

If you are located outside of Canada, return shipping costs and customs fees are your responsibility. We recommend using a tracked shipping method and insuring the package for its full value.

International returns may take longer to process due to customs clearance. Please allow additional time for international returns to be received and processed.
